Help with Memory Vault

Support

Memory Vault keeps project context reviewable: conversation becomes a capture, a person reviews it, and only approved material becomes reliable future context.

What Memory Vault is

Memory Vault is a governed project-memory layer for AI work. It keeps source material, proposed meaning and approved Truth distinct, so an AI system cannot silently decide what a project should remember.

Connecting ChatGPT

  1. Open Memory Vault and sign in.
  2. Open Settings → Developer and copy the Memory Vault MCP address.
  3. In ChatGPT developer mode, add a custom connector and paste that address.
  4. Sign in when Memory Vault asks, then choose whether ChatGPT may read approved knowledge and submit pending material for review.

ChatGPT can read approved material and, if granted, submit user-requested captures, decisions, actions or updates. Every submission waits for human review. ChatGPT cannot approve, edit or delete approved Truth.

Disconnecting an assistant

Removing Memory Vault inside ChatGPT stops ChatGPT using it, but the connection remains revocable in Memory Vault. To end the credential, sign in, open Settings → Connections → ChatGPT, and press Disconnect. That is the account-side revocation action.
