Using Memory Vault

Terms

These terms describe the current Memory Vault service and its boundaries. Memory Vault is available as a controlled beta and may change as the product develops.

The service

Memory Vault helps people keep governed project memory for AI work. It stores supplied material separately from inferred suggestions and approved project knowledge, so a person can review what becomes current Truth.

Your decisions matter

You choose what to submit and what to approve. A capture or assistant submission can create pending material, but it does not become approved Truth until a person reviews it in Memory Vault.

Connected assistants cannot approve, edit or delete approved Truth through the ChatGPT plugin. You remain responsible for checking the material you choose to submit and the decisions you make in Review.

Your material

Submit only material you are authorised to share with Memory Vault. You remain responsible for checking what you submit and what you approve. A connected assistant can put material forward for review, but it cannot approve, edit or delete approved Truth.

Connections and access

Connected assistants and sources operate within the permissions granted to them. Authentication, workspace membership, project access and connection revocation remain part of the service boundary.

Removing Memory Vault inside an assistant can stop that assistant from using the connection, while the account owner can revoke the connection from Memory Vault's Connections screen.

Changes and availability

Features, integrations and availability can change. The public pages and connection descriptions are the current guide to what Memory Vault supports; no future connector or feature should be assumed to be available.
